I made this to choose the right color for drawings or comparing similar colors across brands.
Some notes:
The Crayola pencils have vibrant colors and work very well for cheaper pencils. A box of 50 was $20 AU.
Not everything needs to be shaded using the expensive $2+ Polychromos. They look great when used to highlight over the Derwent or Crayola and blend nicely.
The chart was made in Excel. Another addition may be each color done heavy and light. I found the same color in the various brands are quite different.
Hey you wouldn't happen to be able to add the Faber-Castell colored pencils too? I have them and they're pretty darned good and they're rather cheap. AUD$15 for 36.

I find the crayola pencils are very vibrant and are great for making areas of color stand out. The crayola sets are pretty cheap and i use them often. It is good to mix different brands because you get really interesting results. Changing the pressure you apply makes the drawing look less flat and gives you a wider range of colors.
